Osberton NurseriesReturn to All Projects or Web projects
The first Hat Trick Media project to launch in 2014 is that of Nottinghamshire based Osberton Nurseries, who have been growing Rhododendrons, Camellias and Azaleas for over 20 years.
Osberton Nurseries engaged Hat Trick Media to breathe life into their outdated website, by creating a fresh new site, that they could easily update and make their presence online as much about their growing fanbase (see what we did there), as about themselves.
Osberton Nurseries don't sell directly to the customer, but via a network of respected garden centres and so the site needed to install confidence in both the consumer and the centres too - after all, if there's not an audience for the plants, why should they stock them?
In addition to the simple social media aspects, we've integrated useful QR aspects - so tending to the plants is a simple scan away. The names of the Rhododendrons, Camellias and Azaleas can be quite complicated and tricky to spell, so each plant description has its own auto generated QR code, making accessing information on the plant much easier. This allows the user to find helpful growing tips, how to care for a poorly plant, and if your gardening skills are anything like mine, where to buy replacements.
Helpfully, the site provides information for caring for your plants, and you can use the 'Ask a Question' feature to get specialist helpful advice from Osberton Nursery staff. You can find your nearest Garden Centre who stock the plants and the site also runs competitions via photo submissions of gardeners displays - both for the garden centre and for the inspired gardener as well as keeping folk updated by their informative blog.
